Jesaja 31:1

SV	Wee dengenen, die in Egypte om hulp aftrekken, en steunen op paarden, en vertrouwen op wagenen, omdat er vele zijn, en op ruiters, omdat die zeer machtig zijn; en zien niet op den Heilige Israels, en zoeken den HEERE niet.
WLC	הֹ֣וי הַיֹּרְדִ֤ים מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ לְעֶזְרָ֔ה עַל־סוּסִ֖ים יִשָּׁעֵ֑נוּ וַיִּבְטְח֨וּ עַל־רֶ֜כֶב כִּ֣י רָ֗ב וְעַ֤ל פָּֽרָשִׁים֙ כִּֽי־עָצְמ֣וּ מְאֹ֔ד וְלֹ֤א שָׁעוּ֙ עַל־קְדֹ֣ושׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת־יְהוָ֖ה לֹ֥א דָרָֽשׁוּ׃
Trans.	hwōy hayyōrəḏîm miṣərayim lə‘ezərâ ‘al-sûsîm yiššā‘ēnû wayyiḇəṭəḥû ‘al-reḵeḇ kî rāḇ wə‘al pārāšîm kî-‘āṣəmû mə’ōḏ wəlō’ šā‘û ‘al-qəḏwōš yiśərā’ēl wə’eṯ-JHWH lō’ ḏārāšû:

AC	א הוי הירדים מצרים לעזרה על סוסים ישענו ויבטחו על רכב כי רב ועל פרשים כי עצמו מאד--ולא שעו על קדוש ישראל ואת יהוה לא דרשו
ASV	Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek Jehovah!
BE	Cursed are those who go down to Egypt for help, and who put their faith in horses; looking to war-carriages for salvation, because of their numbers; and to horsemen, because they are very strong; but they are not looking to the Holy One of Israel, or turning their hearts to the Lord;
Darby	Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help, and depend on horses, and confide in chariots because [they are] many, and in horsemen because they are very strong; and who look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek Jehovah!
ELB05	Wehe denen, welche nach Ägypten hinabziehen um Hilfe, auf Rosse sich stützen, und die ihr Vertrauen auf Wagen setzen, weil ihrer viele, und auf Reiter, weil sie zahlreich sind; und die auf den Heiligen Israels nicht schauen und nach Jehova nicht fragen!
LSG	Malheur à ceux qui descendent en Egypte pour avoir du secours, Qui s'appuient sur des chevaux, Et se fient à la multitude des chars et à la force des cavaliers, Mais qui ne regardent pas vers le Saint d'Israël, Et ne recherchent pas l'Eternel!
Sch	Wehe denen, die nach Ägypten hinabziehen um Hilfe und sich auf Pferde verlassen und auf Wagen vertrauen, weil ihrer viele sind, und auf Reiter, weil sie sehr stark sind, aber auf den Heiligen Israels nicht sehen und den HERRN nicht suchen!
Web	Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and rely on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not to the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
